Those stairs are for Piccininis. Her artwork are gruesome, involves natures and human evolution. Mixture of breeding and abstract kind of art. So the top stairs are like not stable and when you try walking on it you feel fear like how her artwork shows fears and scary thoughts. Its like the stairs are evolving into something. 
The tear like shaped stairs are regarding to Richard Goodwins artworks. As i look at his art, its more like amorphous in a way. Amorphous means it changes, morphs indirectly and sometimes confuses. The other stairs drawing with pertruding beams, got the idea from Richard's sculpture where he extrude the automobile with lots of beams. And to me it is a bold artwork. Above images are rough section sketches for my confirmed stairs that will be in my model.
